very heavy solid brass chargers, vintage set of 8 gold charger plates made in India

Set of eight solid brass chargers, a beautiful golden color, and very heavy! These weigh about 1 1/4 pounds EACH, the set weighs over 10 pounds.

These measure about 12 3/4" overall diameter, 8" in diameter across the centers. They're made in India, 80s vintage?

It doesn't look as though these have had much if any use - there's very little scratching or tarnish spotting.
