old glass honey jars w/metal caps and wire handles for pantry storage

Lot of two old clear glass storage jars from an old farm kitchen. These jars hold two quarts and have zinc cap lids and wire handles.

We've been told that these were originally used for honey, but were repurposed as canisters for many years.

These jars measure 8 1/2" high and about 4 3/4" across.
