70s vintage chalkware Bossons head German Shepherd dog Rin Tin Tin?

Bossons chalkware head, a German Shepherd dog, This is inscribed as a gift and dated 1976, could be older than 70s, I suppose? I don't really know much about Bossons pieces. Measures about 6" long end to end. This does have chips and paint wear, please see photos.
