Antique 1880s - 1890s aesthetic period Doulton earthenware china milk jug with an unusual monochrome chintz pattern - this is all over insects! There's bees and bugs and beetles and moths worked into a pattern of leaves and vines.

This has some light discoloration from use - not bad for a pitcher - and fine crazing. There's a tiny chip to the rim at the flat between the 'ears', but overall this is in very nice condition. Stands 6 1/2" tall.
