antique brass lettering / numbering clock wheel stencil, sign letter maker w/ 1860s patent dates

Unusual and lovely antique brass stencil for signmakers, clock numbers, etc. etc.. The largest letters are 1 1/4" tall, and the circular wheel measures 14" in diameter overall.

This has patent dates in the 1860s and early 1870s, so it's post civil war period by a bit. Still one of the nicest sign art pieces we've ever found, in excellent condition overall. There's just one small crack to the edge, and aside from that it's intact and complete.
