antique Chatillon brass hanging scale, 20 lb spring scale w/ 1800s patent dates

Beautiful 1800s vintage Chatillon spring scale with brass face plate on iron body with the original black paint, all iron hooks.

This is a #2, for about 20 pounds. Seems to work just fine, though the brass is very tarnished, and there's wear and light rust to the black japanned finish on the ironwork.
