miniature china bottles w/ hand-painted oriental designs, vintage snuff bottle lot

Two vintage china bottle with cork fitted china stoppers, about 2 1/2" tall overall. We've been told these are snuff bottles, but know nothing else about them at all, sorry! The bottoms are marked with characters or chop marks, so we are guessing these are Chinese porcelain. I know they are at least 10 years old, but cannot even begin to determine the age of these beyond that point.
