big old antique forged steel soup spoon, long handle for kettle / cauldron

Primitive old heavy forged steel spoon for stirring a large kettle or cauldron pot, measures 20 1/2" long end to end. This is well made and very solid, though there's wear and spotting to the finish, and we believe it was painted at some point. It makes a interesting decorative piece, or would be perfect for campfire cooking, or historical reenactors.
