antique milk glass owl, figural covered dish EAPG Atterbury glass 1890s vintage

Rare antique EAPG milk glass owl, 1890s Atterbury glass. Measures about 6 3/4" tall overall. No makers marks that I could see.

This is very rough both from crude molding and from being over a hundred years old. There's staining and what is either soil or the remains of old paint. Both eyes are missing.

This doesn't really detract from a piece like this at all, the owl looks as though he's seen several lifetimes, and has truly earned the name of wise old owl.
