We found these all together and thought that a vintage textile collection, fashion historian, historical reenactor or designer and costumer would probably enjoy this peek back in time as much as we did.
There's a illustration (only, no pattern) for a lady's dress or wrapper 'sack' style, very early century. Also the fabrics planned, a pretty light orange shade that we don't generally think of as commonly used, and some ivory colored stuff, and lace. The paper and fabrics are all very fragile.
There's also a swatch or scrap of crochet lace, with hand written instructions for the design. A complete planned ensemble.
