Mid 1800s English Staffordshire china, two different handle-less cups in flow blue patterns. These have come right out of the estate of a collector, and have been marked 1844 and 1859 on the bottoms, next to the diamond marks.
Both measure about 2 3/4" tall, 3 1/2" to 3 3/4" in diameter. Both are worn, showing chips, cracks, wear and scratching, rub marks. The old handleless cups are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and these are beautiful examples, even with damage!
