Beautiful 1880s vintage W H Grindley - Daffodil pattern English transferware china compote, brown on white. It's a lovely aesthetic period pattern, with floral / natural history motifs.

This is a nice large piece, about 9" x 5". It's in very good condition - there's a little browning, but no chips or cracks - not bad at all for a piece well over 100 years old.
