Unmarked mid 1800s vintage white ironstone pudding bowl with palm leaf and flower embossed pattern near the border. This is one of those patterns very seldom found!
This piece is small and deep, about 5" across the rim x 3 3/4" tall. It has a hard water ring of old mineral deposits around the exterior, where it was put in a hot water bath to steam puddings. It's scratched and worn in general, though color looks fairly good and bright, and there's no chips or cracks - just a few little glaze pops.
