antique mid-1800s vintage English chintz china plate, black / pink / gold

Very early chintz plate, English porcelain with the diamond registry mark. (There's a old note painted onto the back of the plate as well '18 ---, something (a pattern name, I guess?) in black'.)

The plate measures 9 1/4" in diameter, and is in amazingly good condition, without wear or damage. We can hardly believe it's 150 years old!
