Midcentury vintage Nasco - Japan china bowl with multicolored scene of an old arched bridge and the surrounding countryside. This is very much in the style of English transferware, but as I closely looked at the scene I believe it's probably a scene of Japan.
The buildings, the boat on the water, the hats - all look more like old Japan than old England, I think! Pattern is called 'Holiday', I haven't been able to track down any information about it.
This is a vegetable bowl, an oval about 10" long. It has no chips or cracks, but does have discolored crazing and some spots from age / use, which really just adds to its charm. So pretty!
