wide pink border flowered china plates, Alliance Glenwood vintage Homer Laughlin

Set of four vintage china dinner plates with floral center, trimmed in pink. These are 10" in diameter, all in good shape with just a little bit of wear to the gold.

We've been told that this is an old Homer Laughlin china pattern, though its marked International D. S. Co. - Glenwood - Alliance Ohio. (The border pattern is the same wide band as the old Viking wheat pattern, also Alliance china. I'm not sure what the D S letters stand for here. If you do, please let us know - thanks!)
