Little Woodsman of the North Minnesota photo illustrated book w/ lumberjack cover art pulp vintage

Little Woodsman of the North (children of the world series, this one a story of Minnesota), dated 1940.

This has lots of rather Dick and Jane type black and white photos of real children, which don't - in my opinion - exactly fit with the pulp era style graphics of the cover.

But the in this case, the book should be glad to be judged by its cover art, which just doesn't get any better, north woods lodge style! Totally retro camp!
