vintage cranberry rake scoop, primitive country pine wood box wall pocket planter
more photos of this product belowVintage wood cranberry scoop with wood rake, handmade here in Wisconsin. It's put together with screws, not nails - so it's not an early antique, but 20th century vintage. Shows some wear, and marks to the finish.
There's a tarnished copper liner box inside, so it's been a planter for a while if indeed it was ever used for cranberries at all. We are in cranberry country here, so it's certainly possible this was made to use for harvesting.
This measures about 9 1/2" x 8" x 4". It stands well on it's own, and doesn't look as though it's been made for a wall mount, though it would be simple enough to add hardware for hanging.
