Nice big glass canister - this would make a great cookie jar! It's 7 3/4" tall stood upright, 7 1/2" long x 5" wide. The opening is 4", large enough for adult sized hands and / or good sized cookies.

The lid is metal with a red plastic knob, it fits perfectly on the jar but it's not a airtight seal. It's a vintage piece, used though in very good condition.
