1930s - 40s vintage cotton prints quilt top, butterflies in applique w/ embroidery

Pretty, pretty vintage cotton applique quilt top in a butterfly pattern on blue and yellow squares. This measures 60" x 78" overall.

This was salvaged off of an existing tied quilt many years ago... though we found it stored away in a old blanket box, it clearly shows some small holes where it was previously tied to a backing, and a few spots from use.
