shabby vintage crochet lace, large wide runner for farmhouse table, cottage decor

I love the large size of this vintage crocheted lace table runner, it's nearly a yard wide by 2 yards long, 34" x 72".

This is beautiful, but sadly does have spots - and the ecru colored crochet cotton threads used are not of the same dye lot, so not an exact match.

This might be a great piece to tea-dye, or maybe color remover would help? I haven't washed or soaked it at all.
