Beautiful old hand stitched cotton quilt, patchwork pieced in a lone star starburst, blue background. The backing fabric is unbleached cotton flour sacks or feed sack fabric (this fabric has some spotting).
The quilt is 1920s or 30s if not earlier, based on the shirt and dress cottons used in the star, and the experienced workmanship which you don't often find on quilts less than antique.
This measures about 72" x 82" overall. There's a few small holes on the front, the aforementioned spotting to the flour sack material of the backing. Edges look nice without browning or fraying, quilt looks very nice, clean and unfaded.
