vintage army blanket, US Navy blue stripe white wool military medical department

Scratchy all wool army blanket, natural off-white wool with blue stripes. This is marked just US Navy, but I think it's a Navy hospital blanket. (I've been told these white wool blankets were made for the medical department.)

It looks like its been though a war (pun intended!) and has rips, holes, spots, and buckling, as well as general wear. Measures 76" x 50".
