vintage carved stone bookends, vase of chrysanthemum flowers green soapston

Pair of carved soapstone bookends, about 5" x 4" x 1 1/4". I love the flower vase design on these.

They aren't marked or signed at all that I could see, and I'm not certain as to their exact vintage since I know very little about Asian antiques, art or handcrafts. They're 20th century pieces, I know.

The condition is very good, I didn't see any breaks or damage to the carving.
