pair Italian marble white alabaster carved stone obelisks, vintage bookends or statuary

Pair of vintage made in Italy carved stone obelisks, heavy, solid stone. These are marble or alabaster, with a patterned stone (also marble?) at the bases. They're a little over 9" tall, nice and clean, no serious wear, chips or cracks.
