vintage ceramic S&P shakers, 1950s green woven look corn cob dollies boy & girl doll

Unmarked ceramic corn cobb boy and girl salt and pepper shakers, little 'dolls' about 3 1/4" tall.

These look like yarn dolls to me, though I guess they're meant to look like woven grain straw. I love the way the eyes are holes, kind of like sweetly pretty voodoo dolls! Creepy cute.

These have no corks, and there's some wear to the red cold paint details. No chips or cracks.
