mid-century vintage green ceramic elf shoe or pixie boot planter vase, whimsical holiday decor

Mid-century vintage USA pottery pixie or elf shoe with curly pointed toe shape, about 7 1/2" long x 3 3/4" tall. It's in very good clean condition, no chips or cracks.

This is probably a planter, I think - but wouldn't it make a fun candy dish for St Nicholas day, or any time of the Elf on the shelf season? It would make a great 'vase' to hold a collection of vintage pixies / Christmas elves, too!
