vintage gold mercury glass beads string Christmas tree garland decoration

Gold silvered glass bead Christmas garland, like a string of tiny Shiny Brite balls. Probably made in Japan, I think?

It would work well styled with antique ornaments or with a mid-century modern retro look. I'm not sure of the exact vintage of this one, it's showing some age as you can see. The string is loose as some beads have been broken over the years, and all the beads have some wear to the color.
