vintage candy or nut dish, silvery mirror glass serving plate w/ chrome basket

Vintage serving dish, with a silvery glass plate fit into a chrome plated metal 'basket'. I think this was probably made to hold bonbons, but I think it would look great with retro bar ware to hold anything from ice to drink stirrers.

It measures about 7 1/2" across the plate, basket handle stands about 8 1/2" tall. Condition is excellent, shiny and nice!
