We've never seen a Munising bowl like this before, and haven't been able to find out very much at all about it. It's out of the estate of a long time antique collector / dealer in farm primitives, and I believe it's been in his barn of old stock for more than 20 years.
The paint and carving are obviously old, if not original to the bowl then added when the bowl was new. It's about 9" across, not entirely round. There's a little chipping and checking, though none of the cracks cross the bowl completely.
