1920s vintage over the knee stockings, primitive knit socks in barn red & natural cotton

Two pairs of vintage knitted cotton stockings, one pair natural unbleached cotton, the other a badly faded red cotton. These are probably 20s vintage, though they have a wonderful primitive antique look!

Both of these sets are the same size, 9 1/2" long over the foot, 6" (12" circumfrence) at the top of the leg, top to heel 32" long, overall length when hanging 36" long.

Both pairs have been worn, I think - though they have only a few soil marks, and no condition problems aside from the aforementioned fading.
