1930s 40s vintage flour sack feedsack cotton quilt, pink tulip applique

Lovely old hand stitched quilt, tulip applique on unbleached white cotton. This looks to be all flour sack and feed sack fabrics, very soft, a little worn and faded, but carefully sewn, beautifully made.

Size is about 72" x 88" overall. The edges look good without fraying, and we saw no holes.

It has a few spots, and it's discolored in areas (yellow staining at the center, most noticeable on the back of the quilt). You'll want to give this a good soaking, which we'd expect would improve this piece greatly!

We haven't washed or soaked this - it's just as found out of a large collection of quilts from an Illinois farm estate.
