1930s 40s vintage metal helmet shade brass light, industrial / office desk lamp

Machine age office desk lamp with the original white glass torchiere and metal 'helmet' lampshade, showing a good patina of age and tarnishing to the brass lamp base.

This stands about 20" tall overall, with a 12" diameter shade. It's had a hard life, and has chips to the inside rim (inside the lamp) of the glass diffuser, and some wear, scratching, and small dents to the shade. Works fine!
