old 1944 World War Two Navy officer's coat w/bullion patches
more photos of this product belowVintage, WWII United States Navy officers uniform jacket. This jacket has gold colored buttons and metal bullion stripes and hand stitched bullion star patches on the cuffs of the sleeves. This coat has labels from "Finghley - Jackson Blvd - Chicago - New York" and is dated 1944. We're not sure of the exact rank of this coat, but we've been told that it is an Ensign's jacket from the stripes.
This uniform jacket is made from a heavy knit fabric. It measures about 18" long on the arm (from the armpit to the sleeve cuff), 40" around the chest (under the arms), 18" across the shoulders and 28" long from the base of the collar to the hem in the back. This jacket has a number of moth holes from age and storage.
