1980s vintage hand painted ceramic puppy dog Christmas stocking holder shelf sitter

Vintage 1985 Taiwan hand painted ceramic stocking holder, in very good condition without chips, cracks or repairs. This is empty, although I believe it was made to be filled with sand or something like that to give it some weight.

This little yellow puppy has such a wistful face. So cute, especially if you have a shaggy dog at your house who needs a stocking, too!
