40s 50s vintage red tomato ceramic teapot, Occupied Japan hand painted china

Little red tomato tea pot, marked Occupied Japan (late 1940s, or very early 1950s vintage). This holds just 2-3 cups, and measures about 7 1/4" long, 3 3/4" tall overall.

This was much loved and used, with crazing and tea staining to the interior, and badly repaired when at last it was broken. But it's still very cute!
