Bird of Paradise antique Wood & Sons china large soup bowls, 1917 patent date vintage chinoiserie

Set of four Bird of Paradise (or Chinese pheasant?) pattern soup plates, Wood and Sons china, made in England. These have the 1917 patent date on the back.

These measure about 9" in diameter across the rim, a large, shallow bowl shape. The design looks good with very little wear, but these all show some glaze crazing from age, front and back. Colors are bright, and these have no staining, no chips or cracks.
