Chinese Cultural Revolution vintage carved bone figure, statue of a girl with book

Vintage carved bone figurine, not signed or dated that I could see - this looks like a Chinese Cultural Revolution piece to me, though Asian arts are not my specialty. It's beautifully made, with applied color to the details.

I found no damage, though there's spots and irregularities due to the natural characteristics of the bone. The figure (above the wood stand) measures about 6 1/2" or 6 3/4" tall.
