English cottage garden wool crewel work embroidered picture in rustic vintage wood frame

Vintage wool work embroidery of an old thatched cottage and cottage garden scene. The needlework picture measures 14" x 11". We love the old wood frame, too!

There's soil marks, spotting and some moth damage to the wools (some yarn strands are broken, though the cotton background fabric is free of holes). It's shabby but pretty, and will be perfectly at home in a cottage setting.
