Glit Iceland Lava pottery, mod vintage textured ceramic pot, stick handle ashtray or planter

Small, weird lava pottery pot, mod vintage, marked Glit - Iceland. This would make a good ashtray or small planter, though it doesn't look as though it's been used for either (it's nice and clean).
