Imperial French Porcelain antique white ironstone china tray, J & S Alcock mark

Interesting old piece of English made ironstone china, J & S Alcock stamped mark with diamond, also stamped 'porcelaine opaque'. The inked mark is Imperial French Porcelain.

This looks like a vegetable tray or perhaps an underplate to a sauce boat. We think it would make a good catch all tray, or maybe to hold a small collection, or a few bars of soap.

It measures about 8 3/4" across the handles, about 6 1/2" wide. This has wear and scratching and a couple of chips at the embossed design handles (please see photos).
