Nippon vintage Japan characters mark porcelain china tiny pitcher w/ hand painted butterfly

Unusual vintage Japan porcelain pitcher with hand painted butterfly and flowers, bamboo shaped handle. This is marked only with characters, probably never intended for the export market.

I can't read Japanese, and I apologize if my photos are the wrong way around! I was told that this piece is from before WWII, but I can't tell you any more about it than that, sorry.

It's 3 1/2" tall, in very good condition without damage. I love that little butterfly, painted as though it's fluttering down among the garden flowers.
