Old English Staffordshire mulberry purple transfer ware china, Mount Vernon scene vintage plates

Set of four 7 1/2" diameter purple transferware china plates with the same Mount Vernon scene. These are functional dishes, not just souvenir plates.

These are marked Old English Staffordshire Ware with the Jonroth mark - made in England by the Adams potteries, they're mid 20th century vintage.

All have a little crazing, though no chips or cracks. The transfer has a good deep violet color overall, just a little blue in some spots along the border.
