Victorian wash stand set, antique child's size hand painted china boxes & cup for commode

We've been told these are late 1800s or early 1900s vintage fittings for a commode or wash stand - there's two little boxes with vented covers, and what looks like a tiny cup or potty with a bowl cover (maybe for dolls?)

All are hand painted porcelain, unmarked, showing age, and some wear to the painted finish from handling. The boxes measure 4 1/2" and 3" long, and the little pot is 2 1/2" in diameter.

We've never found a set like this before. We'd think that the boxes might have held child size brushes, but the cup or potty piece is something of a mystery to us!
