vintage book ends, pair of white alabaster or Italian marble bookends

Pair of vintage book ends, shaped like books! These are not marked, but we believe they're alabaster or marble stone from Italy.

The bookends measure 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" tall. Each of these has a couple of chips to the stone, though the color is lovely, without discoloration.
