Low oval bowl with lid, old T & R Boote - England ironstone with a lovely backstamp. This measures about 12 1/2" long over the handles.

It's clean and bright with very little spotting, though it does have a chip and short tight hairline at the rim of the bowl. Still displays very nicely, and really I wouldn't hesitate to use this on the table - just don't run it through the dishwasher!
