antique German china biscuit jar w/ roses, early 1900s Germany mark cookie crock

Pretty antique Germany china biscuit jar, about 5" tall x 8 1/2" across the handles. Very Victorian style, with cabbage roses.

This is heavy china, more like a casserole dish than anything else! But I guess that makes sense when you think about the use a cookie jar gets over a lifetime or two.

There's a flat chip at the rim of the jar, and a few marks to the finish from about 100 years of use. The floral decal has some smearing left by manufacture, it's near the bottom rim so not terribly noticeable.
