antique Johnson Bros Vintage pattern china platter, dark blue green transferware Victorian ivy border w/ tassels

Turn of the century Johnson Brothers embossed china platter, 'Vintage' transferware pattern in a lovely dark blue-green color.

Replacements dot com says this is an ivy pattern, it looks more like old fashioned flat leaf parsley to me - which I love, also love those tassels!

It's a good medium size at 14 1/2" x 10 1/2". I seldom find medium sized platters, mostly just the big ones and the small size platters.

The gold border is very worn, and there's noticeable age, discoloration and crazing all over, front and back. There's a very short hairline at the rim, see photos.
