antique Malta brown transferware ironstone china square bowl serving dish, Grindley Staffordshire England

Beautiful late 1800s or early 1900s vintage brown transferware pattern English ironstone bowl, marked W H Grindley. This is about 7 1/2" square.

It's worn and dulled by scratching, and has some brown foxing spots from iron rust in the clay. No chips or cracks, it's a good solid piece overall.
