antique Staffordshire china plates, mid 1800s vintage Robinson Crusoe transferware

Two very shabby, very old plates with scenes from Robinson Crusoe, transfer printed and painted. These are unmarked English Staffordshire from the mid 19th century, late 1840s or early 1850s, I believe.

Both plates measure 5 1/2" in diameter, and both have seen a lot of use and a lot of love, with many old chips and poorly made repairs!
